Qualifications

• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
• Previous lifeguard or pool attendant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to enforce rules and stay calm in emergencies.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning, lifting, and emergency response tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations, emphasizing proper conduct and facility usage.
• Instruct pool users on proper behavior and address rule violations promptly.
• Provide information to patrons regarding facility amenities, rules, and procedures.
• Assist with inquiries, resolve concerns, and enhance guest experience.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks to maintain a clean pool area.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance issues promptly.
• Possess and maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Implement emergency procedures as needed and coordinate with emergency services.
• Ensure pool equipment, life-saving devices, and toys are in good condition.
• Store and organize equipment for easy access.
• Maintain towels and covers stock; perform laundry as needed.
