Job summary

U.S. Coast Guard Community Services Command seeks a Lifeguard INT – 6895 in Aguadilla, PR to guard outdoor pools under the supervision of the Aquatics Program Manager and ensure guest safety.

Qualified candidates hold a Lifeguard certification, can communicate in English, and must be at least 16 years old. Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain Lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent).
• Must communicate in English (oral and written).
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a lifeguard for outdoor pool under supervision.
• Enforces safety rules to protect pool guests.
• Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required.
• Attends aquatics/safety training as directed.
• Maintains pool cleanliness and hazard-free areas.
• Keeps accurate daily logs and records; handles cash needs.
