Job summary

Life Time Inc. in New York is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard who is safety minded and customer service oriented. You will monitor indoor and outdoor pools, assist with events, and help maintain a safe pool environment.

Responsibilities include greeting members, rescuing swimmers in danger, administering first aid, and keeping the pool area clean. Certification requirements include StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, First Aid, and the ability to swim and tread water.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certification (or bridge to StarGuard if expiring within 1st year).
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 20+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members.
