An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard for the aquatics facility at a prestigious country club. The Lifeguard will be responsible for reporting to the Tennis and Aquatics Director. This position is primarily responsible for enforcing safety standards and procedures and providing care as necessary in the aquatics facility at the Yorba Linda Country Club. Part Time and Seasonal: May 25th - September 2nd Pay: $20-$23/hr.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must maintain current certification as a BSA or Red Cross lifeguard or similar certifying body.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a varying work schedule.
JOB DUTIES
• Assist in tracking and reporting maintenance needs to the Tennis Director.
• Able to lead IROEC specific procedures including swim checks, orientation talks, and organize play for summer campers.
• Enforce all guidelines, procedures, and standards of the aquatics area.
• Complete job training including regular in-service training.
• Perform rescues and provide care to your level of training through the Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/AED certification.
• Willing to work with guests of all ages and abilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to stand or sit outside for long periods of time, and able to withstand exposure to heat, cold, and wind.

• Maintain personal physical fitness to ensure a rescue can be made in a timely and effective manner.
