Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Lifeguard to maintain a safe and enjoyable waterpark environment at our Wisconsin Dells location. You’ll enforce rules, monitor pools and slides, and respond to emergencies with CPR and first aid as needed.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to complete on the job.
• Strong water safety awareness and quick response to emergencies.
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced water park environment.

• Ensure guest safety by enforcing waterpark rules and responding to emergencies.
• Conduct water rescues and provide first aid/CPR as needed.
• Support opening/closing procedures and maintain park cleanliness and guest service.

Lifeguard

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Lifeguard. In this role, you will be standing guard and saving lives as you enforce waterpark rules to maintain a safe and fun environment.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

• September 9, 10am-12pm and 4pm-6pm: Suite 4.
• September 19, 10am-12pm and 4pm-6pm: Suite A.
• September 28, 10am-12pm and 4pm-6pm: Africa 50.
• October 3, 10am-12pm and 4pm-6pm: Africa 50.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of water park rides and park cleanliness.
• Communicate with guests about attraction requirements and safety concerns.
• Conduct water rescues and administering first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Stay alert and regularly inspect pools and slides for any hazards or safety risks.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Not a certified Lifeguard? Not a problem! Candidates complete a 3-day certification course.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
