Job summary

OWEGO-APALACHIN CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a part-time Lifeguard to ensure patron safety at the district aquatics facility under general supervision. Responsibilities include opening/closing the pool, monitoring activities, directing swimmers in hazardous conditions, and overseeing pool events.

The role requires current ARC certification, First Aid and CPR, and morning and weekend availability. Candidates must be able to pass a water skills test and maintain a clean pool environment.

• Open the pool each day and close it down each evening, depending on schedule and hours.
