Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain constant vigilance and supervision of Guests in the Waterpark.
2. Recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies using skills from Ellis & Associates ILTP.
3. Maintain a "Test-Ready" skill level after certification.
4. Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Ellis & Associates ILTP program.
5. Assist in other Aquatics Department areas as needed.
6. Attend 4 hours of In-Service training monthly.
7. Enforce Six Flags safety policies and communicate them to Guests.
8. Maintain punctuality and a clean work environment.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum age: 15; must be 16 to obtain the Special Facilities License.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to pass all lifeguard training and licensing through Jeff Ellis & Associates, including practical and written tests.
• Ability to stay calm during stressful and emergency situations.
• Ability to exit from a pool/attraction without ladders, steps, or zero-depth exits.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Professional, self-motivated, able to multitask, and enthusiastic.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
