Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel Casino in Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to watch over the pool deck, respond to emergencies, and help maintain a safe, enjoyable environment for guests.

You will hold Lifesaving/Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications, with preferred experience in pool operations, and a strong commitment to professional customer service and appearance while adhering to brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must have Lifesaving/Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
• Previous experience in pool operations preferred.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest safety by watching over pool deck and responding to emergencies.
• Answer guests’ inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of pool deck and facilities including chairs, towels, and trash.
• Display knowledge of pool facilities such as depth, store hours, bar locations, and rescue procedures.
• Interact with guests while adhering to company customer service standards.
• Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.

Job description

• Provide guest safety by watching over water and deck area and responding to emergency situations as needed
• Answer guests’ inquires in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain cleanliness of pool deck and facilities including straightening and stacking chairs, collecting soiled towels and trash, moving chairs, boxing towels, and cleaning signs
• Display knowledge of pool facility such as depth of all pool, Pool Store hours of operation, location of bars, and emergency procedure for rescue
• Interact with guests while adhering to company customer service standards
• Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department

Responsibilities/Qualifications

• Must have Lifesaving/Lifeguard, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid Certifications
• Previous experience in pool operations preferred
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
