Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure safety and well-being of residents and guests at the community's aquatic facilities.

Responsibilities include monitoring activities, enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, and delivering courteous, resident-focused service; applicants should have current lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in high school or have completed a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minors under 18 must obtain a valid work permit if required by state.
• Prior lifeguard experience is strongly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain current lifeguard certification through ARC, YMCA, or Ellis & Associates.
• Must possess and maintain current CPR, AED, and first aid certifications.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Lifeguard position.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, supervision, and well-being of residents and guests using the aquatic facilities within the community. Monitors pool activities, enforces safety rules, responds to emergencies, and provides courteous, resident-focused service in support of a safe and enjoyable aquatic environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in high school or have completed a high school diploma or equivalent
• Minors (under the age of 18) must obtain a valid work permit, if required by the state in which they are employed
• Prior lifeguard experience is strongly preferred
• Must possess and maintain current lifeguard certification through the American Red Cross, YMCA, or Ellis & Associates
• Must possess and maintain current CPR, AED, and first aid certifications

Pay Range

$15.71 - $19.05 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
