Duke PF in Durham, North Carolina is looking for a Lifeguard to monitor the pool area and ensure the safety of all participants. The role involves performing rescue operations when needed and maintaining a clean and usable pool area.
The ideal candidate will be lifeguard certified, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be able to act decisively in emergency situations. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $22.87 per hour with comprehensive benefits.
Monitor the pool area and all swimmers to ensure the safety of all participants. Perform rescue operations as needed. Make sure the pool and pool area are clean and usable.
Oversee open swim time in fitness centers. Ensure participants act safely. Perform rescue operations if a participant needs assistance.
Keep the pool and surrounding area clean and usable. Notify the Center Director when maintenance is required.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
