Job summary

Duke Careers is seeking a Lifeguard to monitor the pool area, ensure swimmer safety, and perform rescues as necessary on Duke’s campus in Durham. You will help keep the pool and surrounding areas clean and usable and coordinate with management for maintenance and safety updates.

The role involves overseeing open swim times in fitness centers, active supervision, and ensuring participants follow safety rules. A current Lifeguard certification with CPR/Rescue Breathing is required.

Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $ 18.00 .
