Job summary

YMCA in Doylestown, PA is looking for Lifeguards for a part-time, hourly role. You will ensure safety and surveillance of pool participants and members, and help maintain a clean, organized pool deck and wellness areas.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old, hold American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (or be able to pass), and demonstrate strong swimming skills and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of age required.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or ability to pass the course.
• Strong swim skills and passion for water safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and surveillance of pool participants and members.
• Apply organizational safety procedures for pool, aquatic, and wellness areas.

What is needed to be a Lifeguard:

• 15+ years of age
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or ability to pass the course

The responsibilities we will trust you with as a Lifeguard:

• Ensuring the safety and surveillance of all pool participants and members in our Wellness Centers
• Understanding and applying organizational safety procedures for the pool deck, aquatic areas, and wellness areas
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the pool deck, including skimming and brushing; and of the wellness centers
