City of Crescent City is seeking lifeguards for Fred Endert Municipal Swimming Pool. The role focuses on patron safety and excellent customer service. Lifeguards assist with maintenance and pool cleaning, and must meet certification requirements.
The position requires a minimum age of 15, a valid work permit for students, and StarGuard Elite or EMSA-certified lifeguard training including CPR for the professional rescuer. The selection may include exam, interview, swim test, and background checks.
BENEFITS: 40 hours of sick leave per fiscalyear and participation in 457(b) plan.
THE SELECTION PROCESS may consist of a written exam, an oral interview and a timedswim. Subsequent to a job offer and prior to being hired, a candidate must successfully pass a medical examination,drug screen, DMV review, fingerprint and background check.
