Job description

Training Rate: $13.85

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise Guests in the Hurricane Harbor Waterpark vigilantly.
  2. Respond to aquatic emergencies using skills from Ellis & Associates ILTP.
  3. Maintain a 'Test-Ready' skill level post-certification.
  4. Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Ellis & Associates ILTP program.
  5. Assist in other Aquatics Department areas as needed.
  6. Attend 4 hours of in-service training monthly.
  7. Enforce Six Flags safety policies and communicate them to Guests.
  8. Maintain punctuality and a clean work environment.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Minimum age: 15; must be 16 to obtain the Special Facilities License.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively.
  3. Successfully pass lifeguard training and licensing through Jeff Ellis & Associates, including practical and written tests.
  4. Remain calm during stressful or emergency situations.
  5. Ability to exit a pool or attraction without ladders, steps, or zero-depth exits.
  6. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  7. Professional, self-motivated, multitasker with an enthusiastic attitude.
  8. Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
