How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

• Continuously monitors members' behavior to ensure safety at the outside and inside pool and spa while maintaining standards of cleanliness and pool chemical balances.
• Maintains cleanliness and enforces rules of the outside and inside pool and spa areas.
• Ensures all safety regulations are being adhered to for member safety.
• Checks chemical balance of pools and spa.
• Operates pumps, vacuum, backwash and drains when needed.
• Teaches swimming lessons when needed.
• Wears proper uniform.
• Notifies manager if any questions and/or problems arise.
• If unable to work a scheduled shift, follows proper procedure to find a replacement.

What We Require:

• Education: Minimum two years of high school education.
• Work permit required if under 18 years of age.
• Experience: Six months previous lifeguard experience preferred.
• Licensure, certification, and/or registration:
  • Lifeguard, AHA BLS-HCP and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
  • Water Safety Instructor (WSI) preferred.
