Job summary

Garmin International is seeking a full-time Lifecycle Planner at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. The role focuses on semi-complex supply chain management, including materials planning, purchasing, and manufacturing, with input to planning procedures.

Responsibilities include coordinating new product introductions, managing data-driven decision making, and guiding Planner 1 colleagues, while adhering to Garmin’s quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with cross-functional teams/customers.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse, manufacturing, and service processes.
• CPIM or CPM certification preferred.
• 5+ years in material management, production planning, purchasing or distribution in electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Full use and understanding of supply chain, systems, and processes used by area.
• Own accountability for department KPIs.
• Evaluate data for decision-making and guide supply chain processes.
• Identify issues and propose timely solutions.
• Coordinate and manage new product introductions relating to materials planning, purchasing, and manufacturing.
