Job summary

Vermeer Heartland is seeking a Lifecycle Support Specialist to enhance the customer experience throughout the machine lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a team player with growing parts and sales aptitude, entrepreneurial drive, and the ability to work independently.

The role emphasizes collaborating across departments, driving parts sales, and promoting Vermeer productivity tools while maintaining strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a parts/technical specialist or equivalent in a dealership environment.
• 1-3 years of experience with Vermeer industrial equipment, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with ability to meet Heartland insurance qualifications.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the customer experience by collaborating cross-functionally with all departments and effectively communicating with the customer throughout the lifecycle of their equipment.
• Effectively carry out customer touchpoints after the sale of a machine, with a focus on parts sales.
• Utilize the CDK operating system and other available resources to support customer parts sales.
• Proactively recognize service opportunities and support coordination of the customer's service needs.
• Cultivate opportunities, oversee, and maintain customer consignment parts inventories.
• Help increase customer awareness of Vermeer productivity tools, including Confidence Plus, Telematics, Borestore and eCommerce, and coordinate with team members to ensure they are taken care of throughout the life of their machine.
