Job summary

ThompsonGas in Frederick, MD is seeking a Marketing Lifecycle Manager to own the strategy, execution, and performance of digital email marketing and lifecycle automation across the propane lifecycle. This on-site role focuses on driving measurable outcomes in conversion, retention, and digital adoption.

This position leads lifecycle campaigns, tests, and optimizes journeys while partnering with CX, Sales and Customer Service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of digital marketing and familiarity with Marketing Cloud, Salesforce, Email Marketing, Constant Contact, Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end performance of lifecycle email marketing, from strategy through execution, optimization, and reporting.
• Design, build, and continuously improve automated customer journeys that drive lead conversion, retention, and digital engagement.
• Own marketing automation platforms, ensuring data integrity, segmentation accuracy, and effective audience targeting.
• Partner with CX, Sales, and Customer Service to align campaigns with operational goals and influence key customer behaviors.
• Lead a structured test-and-learn strategy (A/B testing, timing, messaging, channel mix) to improve performance over time.
• Analyze campaign performance and translate insights into actionable improvements and revenue impact.
• Report regularly on performance against KPIs, clearly communicating wins, gaps, and next actions.
• Manage and develop team members, ensuring strong execution, accountability, and performance visibility.
