Job summary

Rent-A-Center is seeking a Marketing Specialist – CRM Platform, Retention to architect retention programs across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels using our CDP. You will segment audiences with SQL, run tests, and personalize content at scale with templating and real‑time data.

You will collaborate with Product, Data Services, Legal and CRM teams to ensure flawless execution, strong deliverability, and compliant campaigns in a fast-paced environment on-site in Plano, TX.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on lifecycle/CRM/email experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with ESP/CRM platforms and dynamic content/personalization.
• SQL for audience creation, segmentation, and QA of lists.
• Deliverability and compliance knowledge (CAN-SPAM, GDPR/CCPA, TCPA/10DLC).
• Meticulous attention to detail and brand stewardship.
• This position is in-office in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate omni-channel journeys and campaigns across email, SMS, push, direct mail, and in-app.
• Utilize SQL-driven segmentation and A/B/multivariate testing to optimize performance.
• Personalize at scale using templating and real-time data; manage automations.
• Ensure campaigns deploy accurately and on time; troubleshoot as needed.
• Safeguard deliverability and compliance with SPF/DKIM/DMARC and CAN-SPAM/GDPR/CCPA.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business asks into data requirements.
• Monitor lifecycle KPIs and develop actionable reporting; support ad hoc holds.
• Continuously improve processes, tooling, and QA for faster launches.
