Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a LifeCafe Supervisor to oversee daily LifeCafe shift operations, delivering a high-quality member experience and motivating staff to ensure excellent service. You will monitor food quality and speed of service to guarantee a positive member and guest experience.

The role includes scheduling, leading the shift, ensuring correct menu item preparation, and handling promotions or disciplinary actions as needed. Strong availability for nights and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/AED certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ServeSafe certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Nights and weekends availability may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manages LifeCafe shift operations while adjusting schedules based on traffic flow.
• Acts as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support.
• Ensures team members prepare menu items correctly and serve customers professionally.
• Provides promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager.
• Manages light food preparation responsibilities.
• Responds quickly and efficiently to member questions, comments, and concerns.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Manages LifeCafe shift operations while making schedule adjustments based on traffic flow
• Acts as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support
• Ensures team members prepare menu items correctly and service customers in a professional manner
• Provides promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager
• Manages light food prep responsibilities
• Quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• ServeSafe certification with the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• Night and weekend availability is required based on the business needs

Preferred Requirements

• 1-2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high volume atmosphere

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.25 and pays up to $20.50, based on experience and qualifications.
