Job summary

Life Time LifeCafe Supervisor oversees daily shift operations, delivering a high-quality member experience and motivating staff for excellent service. They monitor food quality and speed of service to ensure a positive guest experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/AED and ServeSafe certifications within stated timelines, lifting ability, and availability for nights/weekends. Prior supervisory experience in a high-volume setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire; ServeSafe within 60 days.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs repeatedly and work in a cafe environment.
• Night and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Manages LifeCafe shift operations and adjusts schedules based on traffic.
• Acts as daily shift leader, providing customer and team support.
• Ensures menu items are prepared correctly and served professionally.
• Provides promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager.
• Manages light food preparation responsibilities.
• Responds quickly to member questions, comments, and concerns.

Position Summary

The LifeCafe Supervisor oversees the daily shift operations in the LifeCafe. They deliver a high-quality experience to the members, and motivate staff to ensure excellent customer service. They also monitor food quality and speed of service ensuring a positive member and guest experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages LifeCafe shift operations while making schedule adjustments based on traffic flow
• Acts as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support
• Ensures team members prepare menu items correctly and service customers in a professional manner
• Provides promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager
• Manages light food prep responsibilities
• Quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• ServeSafe certification with the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• N ight and weekend availability is required based on the business needs

Preferred Requirements

• 1-2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high volume atmosphere

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.50 and pays up to $21.00, based on experience and qualifications.
