Job summary

BGCAZ is hiring a Full-Time Life & Workforce Readiness Manager to develop programs and services that prepare youth and teens for success in a safe club environment. You will oversee club operations, staff supervision, outreach, and life/workforce readiness programming with AZ Youthforce partners.

You will recruit and retain members, collaborate with schools, and supervise YouthDevelopmentSpecialists tied to teen programming, ensuring outcomes and positive club culture across locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 6+ years youth development or related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification within first 90 days.
• Valid Arizona driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of staff, members, volunteers, facility, and Club assets.
• Support recruitment, member retention, and attendance goals.
• Collaborate with community partners, middle schools and high schools.
• Open and close the Club; provide direct supervision during operating hours.
• Lead planning, development, and evaluation of club programs to meet outcomes.
• Promote member participation in club-wide programs and teen pathways.
• Track teen attendance and participation data.
• Foster healthy, respectful, inclusive interactions and club culture.
• Facilitate Life & Workforce Readiness programming with AZ Youthforce.

JOB SUMMARY

The Full-Time Life & Workforce Readiness Manager is responsible for developing programs, activities, andservicesthatprepare youthandteensforsuccessbycreatingasafeandpositiveClubenvironment that facilitates achievement and results in designated outcomes. Responsibilities include: Club operations, program management, supervision of members, recruitment, maintaining community partnerships, facilitating life & workforce readiness programming in collaboration with AZ Youthforce, supportingoutreacheffortsinschools,andsupervisionofanypart-timeYouthDevelopmentSpecialists that are tied specifically to teen programming.

EDUCATIONand/orEXPERIENCE,LICENSUREand CERTIFICATION

• Mustbeatleast21yearsofage
• Mustpossessahighschooldiplomaorequivalencycertificateand6 youthdevelopment or related experience
• Mustobtain/maintainacurrentCPR&FirstAidcertification(within first90daysof employment)
• MusthaveandmaintainavalidArizonadriver'slicense
