Job summary

Tree of Life, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking Part-Time Life Skills Trainers to join its residential program. You will provide hands-on support to adults with brain injuries, assist with daily living tasks, and facilitate therapies and activities in a compassionate, patient-focused environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, being at least 18, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational pursuits.
• Assists clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities and other outings.
• Comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients.
