Job summary

Sevita's NeuroRestorative program in Delran, NJ is seeking caring caregivers to support individuals with brain, spinal cord, or medically complex conditions in a day program setting. You will assist with daily living tasks, mobility, meals, and companionship to help people live safely and independently.

Starting pay is $16.25/hour with step-ups for education and experience; there are additional differentials for 1-4 years (+$0.50) and 5+ years (+$1.00).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months-1 year caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Valid, non-probationary driver’s license held for at least 1 year with no restrictions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting others.
• Ability to safely bend, lift, and assist individuals with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide wheelchair assistance and ensure safe mobility.
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Help maintain the safety and well-being of each individual served.
• Use proper lifting and body mechanics to safely assist clients.

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Day Program | M-F 8:30a-4:30p (40) | Delran, NJ
