Job summary

Elwyn seeks Life Skills Associates to supervise and guide individuals with developmental and behavioral needs within a program site. You will support daily living, safety, vocational activities and social interaction according to each person’s plan.

Positions are in the Newtown Square, West Chester, and Glen Mills locations with shifts including first and second. Typical duties include medication administration, documentation, and emergency readiness; a sign-on bonus applies for full-time on

Qualifications

• One year experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to independently solve problems.
• CPR and crisis intervention training per agency protocols.
• Valid driver's license with at least two years US driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide residents per their support plan.
• Instruct and support individuals in daily living, safety, and activities.
• Administer medications per physician orders and protocols.
• Maintain medical records and incident reports.
• Coordinate transportation needs and respond to emergencies.
