Job summary

Elwyn California is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist and supervise residents in activities of daily living and to implement Behavior Support and Health Care Plans. You will document and follow the Individual Service Plan (ISP) and IPP outcomes, while providing active programming at all times.

The role involves supervising residents during meals, activities, and appointments, transporting residents, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance required.
• Valid driver's license with 2+ years driving in the U.S.
• Completion of required trainings (DSP1, DSP2, First Aid, CPR)

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with self-care and daily living activities.
• Maintain safety and supervision at all times.
• Implement Behavior Plans and Health Care Plans.
• Document behavior and medical concerns to supervisors.
• Transport residents to appointments in company vehicle.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
