Job summary

Vanguard Landing is seeking a Life Skills Manager to create, coordinate, and oversee daily programming that promotes independence and quality of life for residents. You will align activities with each resident's ISP, interests, and goals, ensuring meaningful opportunities to build practical life skills.

As a leader and mentor, you will train DSPs, collaborate with all departments, and ensure programs remain engaging and person-centered.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience working with adults with IDD.
• Supervisory or program leadership experience.
• Experience developing educational or life skills programming.
• Experience with person-centered planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee Life Skills curriculum aligned with ISP goals.
• Coordinate daily programming and community outings.
• Lead and train DSP staff to apply life skill instruction.
• Maintain documentation and assist with ISP implementation.
• Ensure compliance with DBHDS, DMAP, HCBS standards.
