Job summary

Thrive in Dignity LLC is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals to provide life skills mentoring for individuals with IDD in a 1-on-1, community-based setting. This paid role offers meaningful impact across the Tr-Cities area including Greeneville, Johnson City, Jonesborough, Kingsport, Elizabethton, and Bristol.

Responsibilities include coaching in independence, advocating for clients, fostering community participation, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Experience providing direct support or life skills mentoring.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coach, teach, and mentor individuals in home management and independence.
• Advocate for each person’s needs in home and community.
• Encourage community integration and participation through activities.
• Support social skills development with tailored activities.
• Collect and document data on client progress for reporting.
• Maintain positive relationships with family, conservators, and partners.
