Job summary

Pine-Richland High School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute High School Life Skills Support Teacher to design, implement and support students with severe disabilities under IEPs. This role reports to the building principal and is located at Pine-Richland High School.

Responsibilities include implementing IEP goals, participating in IEP meetings, assessing progress and delivering related instruction within an inclusive and pull-out framework. The assignment lasts for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or advanced degree in special education or related field.
• Experience with individuals with severe disabilities; strong academic achievement.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEP goals in inclusive or pull-out settings.
• Participate in IEP meetings and help draft/design IEPs.
• Assess, evaluate and report student progress.
• Teach curriculum and participate in mapping processes.
• Supervise staff and provide guidance.
• Collaborate with administration and staff to support students.
