Job summary

Five Town CSD in Camden, ME, offers a Fall 2026 opening for a SpEd Ed Tech III as part of the Life Readiness Program at Union Elementary School. The role works with students aged 18+ on the Transitional Life Skills Team, focusing on implementing IEPs and supporting various educational settings.

Preference is given to candidates with Special Education experience. Full-time with benefits; salary range reflects Maine contract provisions and benefits package.

Qualifications

Understanding of behavioral interventions, trauma-informed teaching, and SPED practices.
Effective communication and active listening.
Organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to support implementation of student IEPs.
Collect academic and functional data.
Support assigned students in general and/or special education settings, including the regular classroom, the self-contained classroom, and therapy classrooms.
Support students during lunch and during other nonacademic times.
Assist students with activities of daily living.
Teach students about community resources through outings and supported job shadowing.
