Qualifications

Responsibilities

SpEd Ed Tech III - LIFE Readiness Program (JobID 874)

Position Summary

The Five Town CSD partners with MSAD 40 in Waldoboro to offer a collaborative program for students who have been in a high school Life Skills program for four years but who are not ready to graduate and eligible for continued services. The program is small, community-based, and located at the Union Elementary School on Rt. 17 in Union.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members to support implementation of student IEPs
  • Collect academic and functional data
  • Support assigned students in general and/or special education settings, including the regular classroom, the self-contained classroom, and therapy classrooms
  • Support students during lunch and during other nonacademic times
  • Assist students with activities of daily living
  • Teach students about community resources through outings and supported job shadowing

Pay & Benefits
  • Pay: $25.06 - $27.58 per hour based on experience, within the parameters of the applicable contract
