Job summary

Mast Landing School in Maine is seeking an Educational Technician to support students in the Functional Life Skills program for grades 3-5. You will work closely with special education staff to assist with academic tasks, communication, social-emotional development and daily living skills.

The ideal candidate is patient, collaborative, and dedicated to helping students build independence. Must hold 023-Ed Tech III Certification from the ME Department of Education.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid 023-Ed Tech III Certification from the ME Dept. of Education.
• Experience supporting students in a Functional Life Skills program is preferred.
• Ability to implement IEP goals and behavior supports.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEP goals across settings.
• Support positive behavior plans and personal care needs.
• Facilitate communication and social interactions.
• Help students access instruction and school routines throughout the day.
