North Jersey Friendship House, Inc. is seeking a Day Program staff member to support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in developing skills for independence and community integration.
The role involves community-based and classroom-style activities, aligned with DDD and Medicaid guidelines. You will lead groups, coordinate activities, transport members with a 12-passenger van, and ensure safety during outings, reporting to the Program Manager.
Department: Day Program
FTE/Classification: Full Time/Non-Exempt
Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm; 37.5 hours a week)
Pay: $19.00
Primary Function: Responsible for supporting individuals with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities in the development of skills needed for greater independent functioning and community integration. Support will be provided to the individuals in the community, in social and vocational activities as well as classroom-type settings.
