Job summary

North Jersey Friendship House, Inc. is seeking a daytime program staff member to support individuals with Autism and developmental disabilities in the community and classroom settings. You will lead groups, assist with daily schedules, and build partnerships for ongoing community inclusion.

The role includes driving up to a 12-passenger van, supervising activities, and documenting progress toward ISP goals, with a 37.5-hour workweek and a $19.00/hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 1 year experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience.
• Experience with electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups to support member growth socially, vocationally and independently.
• Assist members with daily activity schedules.
• Develop community connections for inclusion and learning opportunities.
• Safely transport members using a 12-passenger van; supervise activities.
• Document progress toward ISP goals per DDD and Medicaid guidelines.
