Job summary

Westhab is seeking a Life Skills Worker in the Bronx, NY to support clients in building daily living and community integration skills. You will provide direct services, crisis intervention, and group activities to promote independence and growth.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or 2+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with confidentiality. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required, or two years of related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients in homes, programs, and the community to promote safety, independence, and community functioning.
• Facilitate and supervise physical, recreational, social, and educational activities.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care as needed.
• Monitor clients’ progress and collaborate with the case management team to evaluate service effectiveness.
