Job summary

The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties in Fresno, CA is seeking a dedicated staff member to supervise and train individuals with developmental disabilities. You will support skill development, promote independence, and complete required documentation while coordinating closely with Case Managers and Program Managers.

Responsibilities include providing care and coaching in various settings, developing programming, and maintaining accurate progress notes.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 3–6 months related experience preferred.
Must possess valid California Driver's License; background check, physical, Tb and drug test required.
Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
Computer use for daily notes, video creation, and videoconferencing.

Responsibilities

Use established methodology to achieve client goals and track progress.
Provide care, supervision, instruction and/or job coaching; services may be in person, remotely or in the community.
Participate in weekly online video sessions.
Develop activities, curriculum and schedules for programming in person or remotely.
Assist Case Manager with ISP/IHC implementation and document as directed by the Program Manager.
Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and ambulation as needed.
Evaluate and document progress through daily charting and log notes in the client electronic file.
