Job summary

The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties is seeking a dedicated supervisor to train and support individuals with developmental disabilities, collaborating with Case Manager & Program Manager to promote independence and skill development. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate daily documentation and progress notes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid CA driver’s license, and the ability to pass background, medical, TB and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prefer 3–6 months of related experience working with developmentally disabled individuals or similar populations.
• Must possess valid California driver's license and be able to pass background check, medical, TB and drug tests.
• Must be able to use a computer for daily notes, video creation, and video conferencing.

Responsibilities

• Use established methodologies to achieve client goals and track progress.
• Provide care, supervision, instruction and/or job coaching for individuals served—services may be in person, remotely, or in the community.
• Participate in weekly online videos.
• Develop activities, curriculum, and schedules for programming in person or remotely.
• Assist Case Manager with ISP/IHC implementation and document as directed by Program Manager.
• Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and ambulation as needed.
• Accurately evaluate and document progress through daily charting and log notes in client electronic file.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Use the established methodology for achieving client goals and track progress.
• Provides care, supervision, instruction and/or job coaching for the individuals we serve, services might be provided in person, remotely or in the community.
• Participates in weekly online videos.
• Development of activities, curriculum and schedules for programming in person or remotely.
• Assists the Case Manager in implementation of the Individual Service Plans (ISP's)/Individual Habilitation Component (IHC) and provides documentation as directed by the Program Manager.
• Assists with personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and ambulation needs as needed.
• Accurately and legibly evaluates and documents the individuals’ progress through daily charting and log notes in client electronic file.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prefer three to six months of related experience working with developmentally disabled individuals or other special populations.
• Must possess valid California Drivers License. Requires ability to pass background check, physical, Tb and drug test.
• Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to use computer for daily notes, creation of YouTube videos and video conference.
