Job summary

Sinton ISD is seeking a dedicated Educational Aide to support a certified special education teacher and other staff in delivering instructional, behavioral, and personal-care services to students with disabilities. You will help implement IEPs, collect data, and assist with adaptive equipment and health-related tasks as directed.

This district role requires strong teamwork, ability to follow plans with fidelity, and commitment to student safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Have met formal academic assessment, associate's degree, or two years of higher learning.
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the certified teacher with instructional activities and IEP implementation.
• Support students individually or in groups with mandated supports.
• Collect and record academic and behavioral data using district systems.
• Assist with adaptive equipment, mobility, feeding, toileting, and personal-care needs when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate with staff and families as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and district policies during all activities.
