Job summary

BGBx is seeking a Manager, Life Sciences Strategy Consulting to steer multiple engagements, set project plans, and coach consultants. This hybrid role can be based in Washington, DC, New York City, or Boston, with the chance to engage independently with clients.

You will partner with senior leaders, help shape strategy, and contribute to business development while delivering high-quality work for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of strategy consulting, market research, or related project work
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Health or Business from a top college/university
• Ph.D. or Master's degree preferred
• Healthcare experience in consulting, pharma, biotech or medical devices
• Experience leading workstreams and small project teams
• Strong communication and leadership with senior stakeholders
• Foreign language skills preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Excellent people management skills

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engagements from start to finish, set schedules, guide team, and interact with clients
• Lead small project teams, provide direction, and prepare client presentations
• Support business development by delivering high-quality work and building client relationships
• Serve as strategy partner to clients and firm senior officers
• Act as a key liaison between the team, senior leadership, and clients
