Job summary

BGBx is seeking a PhD-level life sciences strategist to join the Kx Advisors team in a hybrid US office. You will mentor junior consultants, lead portions of client meetings, and translate research into actionable business insights for pharmaceutical and device clients.

Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent and experience in life sciences strategy consulting or biopharma. Roles are based in Washington, DC, NYC, or Boston with a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture.

Qualifications

• PhD (or expected completion prior to start date), MD, PharmD, MBA, or BA/BS/MS with 1–3 years in life sciences strategy consulting or biopharma.
• Able to synthesize complex scientific or business information and draw logical conclusions.
• Experience leading research projects or small teams in academic or professional settings.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach small teams of Associate Consultants.
• Lead client meetings portions as needed.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis to distill insights into actionable recommendations.
• Develop clinical and commercial assessments from research sources.
• Monitor clinical, regulatory, and competitive landscapes.
• Create clear client deliverables communicating insights to executives.
• Collaborate with project teams with mentorship from leadership.
