Guidehouse, a premier consulting firm, seeks a Life Sciences Managing Consultant to join its advisory team in Boston. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; four years of additional professional experience in lieu of Bachelor’s.
• Four+ years of Life Sciences industry, management consulting, and/or data vendor experience; advanced degree MBA, PhD, PharmD or MD.
• Experience in commercial management consulting functions such as portfolio and asset strategy, data/commercial analytics, launch excellence & brand planning, patient services and market access is a plus.
• Must possess strong analytical skills (Excel, Access, etc.) and leverage analytic techniques to use data to guide client and team decision-making.
• Must have advanced data collection, research, and information-finding experience and explore solutions that challenge critical thinking.
• 3+ years of experience in business & data analytics.
• Experience with sophisticated drug forecasting techniques.
• Must be willing to travel to client sites across the US up to 20% of the time.
• Authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate client’s key business questions and structure/executing analytics plans to provide insights across cross-sectional and longitudinal data.
• Convey and summarize insights through a strategic lens for stakeholders.
• Leverage datasets from multiple vendors (IQVIA, Komodo, Compile, MMIT/Norstella, etc.).
• Lead internal and external discussions to understand requirements and develop client-tailored analytical solutions.
• Shape data-driven engagements by serving as an intermediary between data scientists and clients.
• Collaborate with strategy and data science teams to design data-driven projects (market sizing, patient journey, forecasting, KPI tracking).
• Present proposals and deliverables during meetings with senior client executives.
• Support managing contract budgets and evolving data analytics capabilities.
