Abcam seeks a Production Planner to lead production and material planning across the manufacturing network, ensuring product availability, optimized inventory, and effective capacity use. You will translate demand into executable supply plans while advancing DBS continuous improvement, reporting to the Production and Materials Planning Manager in Waltham, MA, on-site.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 2–4 years in manufacturing, operations planning, production planning, or supply chain.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent planning systems in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, inventory targets, material availability, labor capacity, and equipment constraints.
• Monitor plan execution and adjust schedules to address changing conditions like shortages or downtime.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Planning, and Demand Management to resolve planning issues.
• Participate in daily management, track schedule attainment, and elevate risks affecting delivery commitments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying issues and providing data-driven recommendations.
