Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Biology or related field.
• Must be a registered USPTO patent agent or eligible to sit for the USPTO exam.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct prior art database searches for patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Analyze patents and scientific papers to assist patent attorneys on prosecution, counseling, and litigation.
• Draft patent applications and responses to office actions.
• Participate in post-grant procedures at the USPTO.
