Job summary

Liquid AI in Boston is hiring a Strategic Business Development lead for Life Sciences to turn early drug discovery work into long-term partnerships and revenue. You will drive adoption of Liquid Foundation Models across life sciences, collaborating with R&D leaders and engineering teams to evaluate deployments.

You will own end-to-end deals, shape GTM for pharma and biotech customers, and help define product strategy based on market feedback.

Qualifications

10+ years in business development, partnerships, or corporate development in pharma, biotech, or life sciences tech.
Experience bringing AI/ML or data products into pharma/biotech R&D.
Deep knowledge of drug discovery and development and how pharma/biotech evaluate technology.

Responsibilities

Own deals end to end from identification to close and delivery, accountable for revenue.
Source opportunities across drug discovery and life sciences R&D via network and outreach.
Manage and expand existing life sciences partnerships, including Insilico Medicine.
Negotiate first-of-a-kind agreements with licensing, revenue sharing, co-development, and roadmap commitments.
Lead technical and scientific conversations with heads of AI and R&D leaders; collaborate with scientists and engineers on evaluations, benchmarks, and deployment planning.
Be the voice of the market; bring back objections, pricing feedback, and use cases to influence product roadmap.
