Cooley LLP is seeking an associate to join its Life Sciences Corporate Partnering & Licensing practice in San Diego, Boston, or Palo Alto. The ideal candidate has 3-6 years of experience in representing life sciences companies and is adept in negotiating and drafting strategic commercial agreements. A background in corporate or patent law is advantageous.
The role offers a strong annual pay range of $260,000 - $390,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and generous parental leave.
Cooley has an opportunity to join its preeminent, nationally recognized Life Sciences Corporate Partnering & Licensing practice in our Boston, Palo Alto, or San Diego offices.
Associates with 3-6 years of experience representing life sciences companies in the structuring, negotiation and drafting of strategic commercial transaction agreements, including licenses, collaboration agreements, and other commercial agreements, in either a private law firm or in-house position, are encouraged to apply. Corporate or patent experience and/or technical degree is a plus. EOE.
The expected annual pay range for this position is $260,000 - $390,000. Please note the final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
