Cooley LLP has an opportunity available in the San Diego office of its elite, internationally recognized corporate practice. Associates with four to seven years of experience with public and/or private companies are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have experience (i) representing companies in capital markets transactions; (ii) representing public companies with SEC (’34 Act) reporting, corporate governance matters, and exchange compliance; and (iii) managing client relationships and handling the day-to-day demands and workflow requirements of public company clients with sophisticated needs. Experience representing high-growth businesses in connection with financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters is a plus. Ideal candidates will also have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm, and will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school. EOE. The expected annual pay range for this position is $310,000-$420,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
