Job summary

The role involves analyzing patents, literature, and prior art to guide litigation strategy. You will work with clients, scientific experts, and technical consultants on complex life sciences matters and assist in developing litigation strategy, case preparation, and drafting filings for matters in U.S.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry required; experience with sophisticated technologies in pharma, biotech, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and legal analyses of patents, scientific literature, and prior art to support litigation strategy.
• Collaborate with clients, scientific experts, and technical consultants on complex life sciences matters.
• Assist with the development of litigation strategy and case preparation, including drafting and reviewing briefs, motions, discovery materials, and other filings.
• Assist with patent litigation matters in U.S. district courts and proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
