Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience, at least two of which include Project Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or planning.
• Progressive ability to plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate technical work.
• Fundamental level of scheduling skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, teamwork, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to build rapport with project staff.
• Proficient with IT tools including spreadsheets, word processing, planning, and scheduling software.
• Understanding of Earned Value and project controls methods.
• Promotes Safety and adheres to IPS safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Holds primary responsibility for achievement of scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives on assigned projects.
• Attends pre-bid meetings with clients and prepares proposals.
• Assists in Design budget development.
• Manages client interaction on assigned projects and promotes positive relationships.
• Identifies risks to the project and mitigates them with project executives.
• Responsible for project scope control and change notices to the client.
• Coordinates with project leads on scope, complexity, and scheduling requirements.
• Develops and maintains the Project Execution Plan.
• Prepares internal and client monthly financial/schedule reports.
• Enhances project team communication and coordination.
• Develops meeting minutes and action items.
• Manages all sub-consultants and runs multiple small projects.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement.
