Advocates Legal Recruiting is assisting an AmLaw 100 client in hiring a mid-level Life Sciences corporate transactional associate for New York and other major markets. You will work on growth-stage and public life sciences deals with broad exposure across the lifecycle of these companies.

The role offers equity financings, IPOs, SEC reporting, and M&A, with substantial deal responsibility and direct client interaction. This is a strong platform for career growth in life sciences corporate law.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of corporate and transactional experience at a comparable law firm.
• Strong background in public company work, registered equity offerings, SEC representation, and M&A.
• Life sciences experience is helpful, but not required if your interest in the sector is real.
• Someone who can work well with a team but also own substantial parts of a transaction without hand-holding.

Responsibilities

• Work on corporate transactions for venture-backed private companies and public companies in the life sciences space.
• Run meaningful pieces of deals, work directly with clients, and handle more than checklist execution.
