Advocates Legal Recruiting is seeking a Life Sciences Corporate Transactions Associate for our AmLaw 100 client in the San Francisco area. The mid-level associate will handle a broad life sciences corporate practice, with opportunities across growth-stage and public companies.

The role spans equity financings, IPOs, SEC work, and M&A, with real client interaction and ownership of substantial deal components. Multiple U.S. offices acceptable; strong academics and bar admission required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of corporate and transactional experience at a comparable law firm.
• Strong background in public company work, registered equity offerings, SEC representation, and M&A.
• Life sciences experience is helpful, but not required if your interest in the sector is real.
• Someone who can work well with a team but also own substantial parts of a transaction without hand-holding.
• Strong academics, bar admission in the relevant market, or the ability to get admitted quickly.
